Tekt’s six-stage process combines design thinking with manufacturing discipline to deliver modular buildings in as little as 4 months. We streamline complexity to reduce risk, minimise delays, and keep costs predictable. One dedicated team guides you from first conversation to final handover, ensuring a transparent, well‑managed journey.
01 Groundwork
Every Tekt project begins with a conversation. We take time to understand your vision, assess your site, and establish what's possible—covering design directions, cost breakdowns, realistic timeframes, and a clear path forward.
02 Concept Design
Choose from our Urban, Coastal, or Rural Design Series, or explore a custom build. We develop your concept into a complete design package, including floor plans, elevations, selected inclusions, and engineering markups—comprehensive specifications ready for quoting.
03 Shaping the System
Working closely with you, we refine layouts, finishes, external form, windows, doors, and any upgrades. The collaborative process is calm, structured, and iterative until the final design is signed off with full confidence.
04 Building Approvals
We coordinate every consultant and report—soil, energy, wind, bushfire, engineering, town planning, and certification—ensuring you deal with one team, not several. Questions are addressed, revisions managed, and approval issued: the green light for factory production to begin.
05 Considered Construction
Your building is assembled inside a controlled factory, ensuring no weather delays or site disruptions. We maintain rigorous quality control before modules leave the floor, and keep you informed throughout with progress photos, milestone updates, and a predictable, structured timeline.
06 Seamless Delivery
We manage transport, cranage, site preparation, module installation, service connections, and weatherproofing. After a thorough internal inspection, we walk you through your completed property. You receive keys and manuals, followed by a 30-day check-in and 12-month service. We provide a standard 12-month Defect Liability Period and a 6.5-year QBCC structural warranty in Queensland.

Groundwork
Initial feasibility discussions, site investigations, and early design conversations are undertaken separately.
Surveys, soil tests, and consultant inputs are often commissioned at different stages, with costs and timelines subject to change.
